Nine baby gerbils are weaned and ready for their new home(s). These little guys make great pets. Their set-up should consist of a 10-gallon aquarium (for one to three gerbils), screen lid, running wheel, water bottle, glass food dish, good-quality gerbil food, fresh fruits and veggies (optional, but very much appreciated), CareFresh bedding, and toilet paper/paper towel cardboard rolls or small cardboard boxes. They're very clean little critters (requiring cage cleaning about once every two weeks), and they are really fun to watch and play with. They are very social, so it's best to have two of the same sex housed together (three if males).
