Labrador Retriever - Large - Young - Male - Dog - Ballard

Ballard is calm, gentle, gets along with other dogs, and is good with kids. Update: Because Ballard was pretty shy, he has been working with a mentor - a nice lady who comes in and spends extra time with him on a regular basis, and he now "sits pretty" (see last picture), lies down, and sits on command. It is very cute, and he is so happy performing for his treats (he even tries to snuffle his nose into his mentor's pockets for those treats!)! He now enjoys attention, and is a wonderful dog who will make a great pet. He didn't have much interest in the cats, even when they were right under his nose, so he may have lived with cats previously, but always use caution when introducing new pets. This is from Ballard's mentor: "Ballard has a loving nature. He loves to cuddle, but he also likes to wrestle. He is a loose leash walker for the most part and has shown an interest in learning to play ball. He is very partial to plain dog biscuits, nothing fancy, and will go through all your pockets looking for them. He will often sit up for them." $75.00 adoption fee.
