Boxer - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - Blue

HI!!! (Is there some way for me to curl up into your lap while you're reading this?) I was born into foster care on 08/27/07. My mom looked to be a boxer/beagle mix; but, not much telling what my daddy was. He might have had some bull dog in him; but, I'm a very sweet, non-aggressive, "snuggle bug." Even though I love to run and play with other dogs, I'm happiest when I'm snuggled up with a human; or, being a 45 pound lap dog. I'm housetrained to use a dog door; and, to "hold it" by the door in the absence of a dog door. I need the kind of home where I'd be a full-fledged member of the family; and, where I'd get to sleep inside with my family. (Preferably snuggled up next to one of my people.) I walk pretty well on a leash, with some minor problems with pulling; and, I know "sit" and "stay;" but, I still need some work on the stay part. I'm young enough to learn quickly; and, with a little time and attention, I'd be an extremely well behaved member of the family. I've yet to meet a kid I didn't like; but, I'd also be a really good dog for someone who was retired or disabled, yet still somewhat active.
