Hello! My name is Tina. I’m a border collie mix, and I’m approximately 2 years old. I am pretty tall, but I only weigh about 21 pounds... in fact, you might find that I can squeeze into the smallest of places if I get to come live with you. I am REALLY shy, but after a little time with you I will open up, I just need a chance to learn who you are and trust you. I’m currently living with a foster family who has been trying to work with me to get me used to things. One of the things they have discovered is that I make for a quiet companion who gets along well with other dogs. They have also told me I am a fantastic walking partner who doesn’t pull on them but who listens to them. And, once we get going I could walk as long as you wanted to. And, they have mentioned am a great car companion too, traveling quietly and patiently to and from my adoption events. I would love to find a forever home where I could really have the chance to settle in and find a family who will love and care for me. I am seeking a quiet, calm home where I can learn to trust again. A family would be excellent, though older children might be better because I am easily frightened. Or, a couple or single person would even be great as I make a quiet companion who loves to sit quietly. I definitely need patient owners who can give me the time I need to get to know them and trust them. It’s not that I’m scared of all people, I am just cautious until I know you. I’m ready to find a home, are you ready to help me?This dog has had full medical, which includes Vaccinations up to date w/ Rabies shot(4 months & older), heartworm tested (4 months & older) & on prevention, deworming if necessary and spayed or neutered.
