Maine Coon - Small - Adult - Female - Cat - Mia $25

Adopt a cat for $25 in the month of OctoberThis is Mia. She is a beautiful tabby with medium length hair and white markings,1-2 years old. She may even have a little Mane Coon mix in her. Two teenage boys discovered her at a local skate park. She was very malnourished and pregnant. They raced to the Walgreens across the street and bought food with their spare change. She spent the rest of that day and evening being carried around in the boys arms as they skated. The boys were unable to rescue her that night so she had to spend one more night alone in the woods by the park. One of the boys went home to tell his Mom about the cat, so the next day they returned to the park to attempt to find her. They didn't have to look far. She was tucked back in the woods right where they had first discovered her.. She ran to her rescuers and went very willingly into a carrier. A couple of weeks later she had five healthy kittens all of which survived. She has been an exceptional Mom and continues to mother the two that have not been adopted yet. Mia is a quiet, reserved cat and very loving. She has been fostered in a home with children, dogs, and other cats. Mia would love to be in a permanent home and become part of a family. This cat has had full medical, which includes Vaccinations w/ Rabies shot, leukemia test, deworming if necessary and spayed or neutered. Adoption fee is $45 for cats over 6 months & $75 for kittens 6 months and younger, and all potential adopters are screened carefully. Look at the home page for info on adoption process.
