Description

Domestic Medium Hair - gray and white - Medium - Young - Female
Description
JillyAnn and Jack are siblings and need to be adopted together. JillyAnn is a six month old, gray & white female kitten. JillyAnn was near Jack when he was found in the middle of a neighborhood street and both were in horrible condition. They were malnourished, anemic as a result of flea infestation, and had severe upper respiratory infections. Initially, both were treated at Neel Veterinary Hospital, but have since been treated by Dr. Todd Mauldin at Britton Road Veterinary Clinic. JillyAnn's eyes water a bit, so her face needs to be cleaned occasionally, which she tolerates somewhat willingly. She is very playful and social with other cats. She is particularly attached to her brother and has a sweet disposition, until it comes to food; and then she is VERY vocal and demanding. Jack is a six month old black & white male kitten. When he was found, Jacks right eye was so badly infected that it was feared that it would have to be removed. But with constant care and medication, the eye was saved. Now that eye has a cloudy spot from the scar tissue and he has limited vision in it. It also waters quite a bit, thus his face needs to be cleaned a couple of times a day, which he tolerates willingly. He is very playful and social with other cats and is particularly attached to his sister. Jack is a sweet loveable soul that bears no malice toward humans for his rough start in life. He tends to growl and get defensive around food but he is learning to share. Jack and JillyAnn have not been introduced to dogs, but they are not afraid of them, as they observed them through the patio door.
