NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC MAGAZINE COLLECTION
Agent for the collector of many years offers the following:
The continuous collection of these very excellent National Geographic Magazines begins with the 1956 year and continues in order through 1994. This is 39 consecutive years of the magazines, complete without a missing issue.. These have been kept in the original owners residence all this time. The magazines have been filed in National Geographic file boxes which hold six issues, and are labeled as to the year and volume 1 or 2. These
shrouds are included in the set and are an indication of the care and preservation of this collection.
The continuity of the collection breaks with 1995, 1996, 1997 years which are missing.
The collection begins again with 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001. These four years are complete. Additionally--
2002 volume 1 is missing the April issue.
2002 volume 2 is missing October and December issues.
2003 is missing entirely
2004 volumes 1 and 2 are complete.
2005 and 2006 are missing completely
2007 volume 1 is missing February issue.
2007 volume 2 is complete.
All volumes except nine are shrouded in National Geographic file boxes which are dated by year and volume number.
Twelve volumes are shrouded in appropriate containers which are not National Geographic provided file boxes
Six volumes have no containers.
Further, there are various very old volumes as follows:1919 November, 1919 December,
1932 January, 1936 June, 1954 October,
Also 1920 Volumes 1 and 2. 1921 Volume 1 less one issue (March).
The above 22 issues are the only ones which were not acquired by the owners subscriptions
Agent will consider offers on the entire set of 576 issues as detailed above.
